During 2005, I led the technical team at GuaduaTech and developed the VIP house, with a built area of 66 m2.
The house's structure consisted of minimal bamboo elements. The overall design of the project allowed for the development of a unique alternative in this type of construction for the most needy.
The technical development achieved in this project allowed for the development of this housing prototype, creating a real alternative to address basic needs for both Colombia and the world.
The final measurements and dimensions of each of the bamboo pieces were adjusted to the millimetric measurements that both the anchoring joints required from the 3D model developed in AutoCAD.
Design as an architectural act that is the product of creation. And a creation that advocates for well-being and hope.
