In 2002 and 2003, as part of the GuaduaTech technical team, we built two stands using the guadua construction system at the Hortifair in Amsterdam.
The assembly process took two days, between two people, demonstrating the ease of assembly of each of the structures. The 2003 stand won the bronze medal for design and craftsmanship among more than 230 stands from around the world present at this fair, which is the most important flower exhibition.
The system's constructive advantages allowed us to develop these unique architectural projects, generating complete satisfaction for our client, ASOCOLFORES, the most important association of floriculture producers in Colombia.
The final measurements and dimensions of each of the bamboo pieces were adjusted to the millimetric measurements that both the anchoring joints required from the 3D model developed in AutoCAD.
Design as an architectural act that is the product of creation. And a creation that advocates for well-being and hope.
